1) Describe what the main concept or "big idea" behind the video is.

    - The main idea of the story is to adopt a dog when you are ready to so you don't leave it behind and so you can take care of it.

2) What is the emotional tone of the video..Happy? Sad? Optimistic?

    -It starts off happy and everyone loves the " little girl " or the dog, but then the owners start to understand how crazy a puppy can be and the already have a kid. It ends in a sad way because he takes the dog and leaves it in a field when he could have taken it home and trained it or just never got it in the first place.

3) Were there any clues that the adopted child was a metaphor for an adopted dog?

    - Yes, he plays fetch with her, he treats her like a dog when they eat, he walks with the other little girl and just leaves the dog,and when the dog made a mess they took it to a field and left it there. 

4) Identify the message the filmmakers were trying to convey.

    -They were trying to get a point across by saying to take care of a dog you need to treat it like family and not leave it behind or forget about it.

5) In your opinion, was the message effectively conveyed?  (Use examples to support your opinion)

    - Yes the message was very effective, you can see that the little girl id confused and doesn't feel as much love and you can see the sadness in her eyes. When she gets dropped off at the field you can see how sad and confused she is and the it transforms into a dog and it all makes since.

The wrong trousers:

Title/opening credits: The movie starts out sounding like a scary movie again but the turns into a happy day with everything working out just the way it should.

Story/plots/narrative: The morning starts out great everything is going just the way it should. Wallis needs to get some money to pay the bills because he spent all his money on birthday gifts for Gromit. He wants to get someone to rent out the spare room in his house to make some more money. A penguin rents out the spare but instead he takes Gromits room and then starts to take his passion in the house. This causes Gromit to leave the house. The penguin takes over the house and the uses Wallis to steel a diamond. After he does this Gromit saves the day and Wallis and Gromit turn in the penguin and get there money from the reward.

Motif: Once again they use cheese again.

Characterization: Wallis- innocent to the whole idea of the penguin being bad. Gromit- has a bad feeling about the penguin and keeps his out out. The penguin- very bad and uses Wallis.

Scene and set up: This was filmed in a studio.

A close Shave:

Title/opening credits: They make it feel as if you are about to watch a scary movie. 

Story/plot/narrative: The story is about Wallis and his dog and together they invent things. They make a machine that helps get the wool off of sheep. An evil dog with a good owner tries to steel the sheep to make dog food out of them. They frame Gromit for killing the sheep and then he ends up in jail. However Wallis and all the other sheep save him. At the end one of the sheep saves the day and the inventor makes the robot dog good again.

Motif: They keep repeating different types of close shaves, also cheese comes up in the film many times.

Characterization: Wallis: nice and helps save the sheep and an inventor. Gromit (the dog): helps invent things and gets accused of killing the sheep. The main lady: does what the dog tells her to and that means killing the sheep. The robot dog: the one who is in charge of hurting the sheep.

Scene and sets: This movie was filmed in a studio.
